The site was put together by the
author's descendants, and includes let-
ters from Aleichem to his children,
reminiscences by family members and
stories and excerpts from his novels.
New stuff on the site: a translation
of the story "If I Were Rothschild"
and a bulletin board/discussion area,
with announcements of events in the
/-2:-)world of Yiddish literature and chatter
about Sholom Aleichem and the lost
world he depicts.
Cooler still: an online bookshop
where you can purchase some of
Sholom Aleichem's books without
leaving home.
Every Jew should experience the
joys of this great literature; the
Sholom Aleichem homepage makes it
easier than ever to get started.
