Association for Psychoanalysis and taught
graduate courses at Wayne State University.
He was a member of Temple Beth El.
Dr. Dorman received his medical degree
from Indiana University at age 22 and prac-
ticed internal medicine in Indianapolis. He
served four years in North Africa and Italy in
World War II as a Captain. He did a resi-
dency in psychiatry in Detroit after the war
and directed the Adult Psychiatric Clinic
during the early 1950s.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor(nee
Keller); sons Henry (Maria) of California
and Joseph of New York; daughter Rebekah
(David Ashpis) of Beachwood, Ohio; six
grandsons.
Contributions may be made to the U.S.
Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington,
D.C.
