JEANNETTE TILCHIN, 71, of
Huntington Woods, died Feb. 21.
Ms. Tilchin was registrar and
director of financial
aid at Camp
Tamarack from
1976-1992. She
was president of
Congregation Beth
Shalom from 1985-
1987, an executive
board member of
the Fresh Air
Society and a long-
time supporter and volunteer for
many Jewish and charitable organi-
zations.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, William Tilchin
and Carol Tilchin Giliberto of
Rhode Island, Michael Tilchin and
Linda Greer of Maryland; daughters
and son-in-law Minda Tilchin of
Huntington Woods, Marcia Tilchin
and Scott Spitzer of New York;
grandchildren Benjamin and
Elizabeth Tilchin, Bethany and
Aaron Tilchin Schaer, Ross and
Carla Tilchin, Avraham Spitzer-
Tilchin; sisters Anna Katz Brenner
of New York, Lillian Gold of Oak
Park; brothers and sisters-in-law
Morris and Dolores Katz of New
Mexico, Dr. Isadore and Celia Katz
of Colorado, Jerry and Stephanie
Katz of Detroit.
Ms. Tilchin was the dear sister-
in-law of the late Rueben Gold.

RIVA TSVDIK, 85, of Oak Park,
died Feb. 24.
She is survived by her daughter
and son-in-law, Frida and Nikolay
Millerman of Oak Park; grandchil-
dren Gennadiy and Marina
Shekhman, Svetlana and Michael
Pomerants, Vlad Millerman, Alex
and Rita Millerman; five great-
grandchildren.
Mrs Tsvdik was the beloved wife
of the late Elik Tsvdik.

BONNIE GIBBS WAYNE, 44, of
Oak Park, died Feb. 24. Mrs.
Wayne was a lunch room assistant
at Angell School and a teacher's
aide for the Berkley School District.
She is survived by her husband,
Joseph "Mike" Wayne; son Jerry
Wayne; daughter Samantha Wayne;
mother Jacqueline Gibbs; brothers
and sisters-in-law Steven and Susan
Gibbs of Sterling Heights, Howard
Gibbs of Louisiana, Charles and
Lettie Gibbs of California.
Mrs. Wayne was the loving
daughter of the late Jerome J.
Gibbs.
Interment at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park. Contributions may

JOSEPHINE "PEPI" WEISS, 100,
of Oak Park, died Feb. 26.
She is survived by her grandchil-
dren, Janice Weiss-Dembs and Gary
Dembs, Renee Weiss, Julie Weiss;
great-grandchild A.J. Dembs.
Mrs. Weiss was the beloved wife
of the late Martin Weiss; loving
mother of the late Morris Weiss,
the late Albert Weiss; loving moth-
er-in-law of the late Ruth Weiss.

FLORENCE WOLFSON, 83, of
Royal Oak Township, died Feb. 23.
Mrs. Wolfson is survived by her
daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and
Israel Kroll of Oak Park, Ellen and
Arthur Lebowski of New York;
grandchildren Cheryl and Louis
Thoryn, Harry Kroll, Gary and
Carol Kroll, Dena DeRoo, Lisa
DeRoo, Harry Lebowski, Jeffrey
Lebowski; seven great-grandsons;
sister-in-law Becky Brodsky.
She was the beloved wife of the
late Harry Wolfson, the loving
mother of the late Ilene
Stadelmeyer and the dear sister of
the late Allen Schneider.
Interment at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may be
directed to the Michigan Heart
Association and the Juvenile
Diabetes Association. Arrangements
