CHAIM — Children of Holocaust
Survivors Association In Michigan
— will present a video and discussion
of a recent journey to Belarus, Poland
and eastern Europe, 7 p.m. Sunday,
Feb. 28, at the Kahn Jewish
Community Center.
A group of children of survivors and
descendants from the town of David
Horodok traveled to various locations
throughout Belarus and Eastern Europe
to revisit their roots. CHAIM board
member Debra Feldman will lead a dis-
cussion about this historic personal
journey The video will be followed by a
discussion with the trip participants.
The community is invited; there is
no charge. Refreshments will be served.

Ecumenical
Model Seder

The Ecumenical Institute for Jewish-
Christian Studies and Temple Beth El
in Bloomfield Township will sponsor its
annual model Passover seder at 6 p.m.
Tuesday, March 9, at the temple.
In addition to the traditional meal,
guests will participate in readings,
retelling the story of the exodus and
conversation with temple hosts.
Individuals and families are welcome;
this event is especially significant for
church confirmation and study groups.
The charge is for the meal itself: S15
for adults; $13 for children under 12.
