any local brides-
to-be attended
the recent second
annual Tiffany Bridal Show
at The Townsend Hotel.
More than 100 guests were
treated to brunch and an
exquisite display of jewelry,
fine china, crystal, sterling
silver and gifts for the
bridal party.

The bridal fashions were
from Alvin's Bride. The
Townsend Bakery pre-
pared beautiful wedding
cakes, while Marley's dis-
played fabulous floral
arrangements. Many
guests commented on the
gorgeous table cloths and
napkins provided by
Party Linens.
Some of the lovely
brides-to-be spotted in
the crowd included Jamie
Kohen, who attended
with her mom, Marilyn

Jillian Wallach will perform in the
opera Carmina Burana.

OPERA PERFORMANCE
Jillian Wallach, a seventh grade
student at Dunkel Middle School in
Farmington Hills and daughter of
Howard and Stacy Wallach, has been
selected to sing in the upcoming per-
formance of the opera Carmina
Burana with the Rackham Symphoa*
Choir and the Eisenhower Dance
Ensemble tonight at the Macomb
Center of the Performing Arts.
Jillian's opera career began because
of an elementary school talent show.
A parent attending the talent show
suggested that Jillian try out for
Carmen because she had "perfect
pitch." Jillian performed in Carmen at
the Detroit Opera House a few years
ago.
"She has this passion and never had
a voice lesson," said mom Stacy
Wallach. "She really has a gift."
