Volunteers
Made The Day
On behalf of the residents and staff of
Menorah House, I wish to extend
thanks to the two dozen or so kind
and generous individuals from the
Jewish Federation's volunteers corps
who stopped by on Dec. 25 to lighten
the load of our staff. Their help was
most appreciated.
This seasonal and grand tradition
of service in the Jewish community is
one to be admired and emulated.
Thanks is not enough. The esteem
deserved should not have to be
reduced to a mere expression of grail\
tude; but, sadly, that is the only
method at our disposal.
As we close out December, we
thank these and every other voluntee r
who chose to selflessly give of their
time during the past 12 months.
Menorah House is blessed with a gift
ed, devoted and cheerful volunteers
who, together, give up to 10,000 c_-",
hours of service per year. Our staff
and facility are the better for the wor
of these beneficent people.
