EDDIE GLICKEN, 80, of Lady
Lake, Fla., died Jan. 3. Mr. Glicken
was a carpeting business account
executive. He is survived by his wife
of 57 years, Dorothy Glicken;

Conn., Patricia Wallach of Oak
Park; grandchildren, Jason, Kristen
and Heather Ball; brother and sister-
in-law, Norman and Martha Glick-
man of West Palm Beach, Fla.; sis-
ter, Rosetta Cowan of Farmington
Hills and sisters -in-law, Bea Glicken
and Harriet Glickman. Mr. Glicken
was the loving brother of the late
Shirley Goldstein, the late Herman
Glicken and the late Phil Glickman
and the dear brother-in-law of the
late Al Cowan and the late Ben
Goldstein.

AARON "MICKEY" GOOD-
STEIN, 85, of Southfield, formerly
of New York, died Jan. 3. Mr.
Goodstein was a Teamsters Union
truck-driver and a breeder of
pigeons. He was an Army veteran of
World War II. While stationed in
Europe, he was wounded three times
and received three Purple Hearts.
For 35 years, Mr. Goodstein bred
and raced pigeons and was a nation-
al champion. He was also the presi-
dent and member of the Pigeon
Club of New York. Mr. Goodstein is
survived by his sister, Frances Bon-
ner of Southfield; nieces and
nephews, Joan and Norman Shapiro,
Ruth and Fred Lax; great-nieces and
great-nephews.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memo-

ROSE KATZMAN, 95, of Michigan,
died Jan. 2. Born Rose Simon in
Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of Gussie
and Solomon Simon of Brooklyn. A
retired elementary school teacher,
Mrs. Katzman had lived in New York
until 1994 when she moved to
Michigan to make her home with her
daughter. A lifelong commitment to
the community was e\rinced through
her work with Hadassah, Yeshiva
University Women, the sisterhood of
Young Israel of Flatbush, N.Y., and
the Order of the Eastern Star, N.Y.
She had served with distinction in
the leadership capacity in all of these
organizations throughout the course
of her life.
She is survived by daughter, Char-
lotte Phyllis Katzman of Farmington
Hills; son and daughter-in-law,
Arthur M. (Joan) Katzman of New
York; sister, Ruth Resnick Siegel of
Deerfield Beach, Fla.; grandchildren,
