Bloomfield, died Jan. 6. She is sur-
vived her son and daughter-in-law,
Allen and Barbara Zatko- ff of South-
field; daughter, Marilyn Schwartz of
West Bloomfield; brothers, Abe Stein
of Farmington, Morris Stein of Flori-
da; sister, Ann Gross of Southfield;
grandchildren, Andrea and Alan

Beth Zatkoff, Leslie Zatkoff, Jeffrey
Green; great-granddaughter Jamie
Auster; brothers-in-law and sisters-
in-law, Barney and Rae Zatkoff, Jack
Schechter, Hilda Mazer. Mrs. Adel-
son was the beloved wife of the late
Harry Zatkoff and the late Thomas
Adelson; loving sister-in-law of the
late Miriam Stein, the late Lillian
Schechter, the late Dave Mazer, the

Molly Stein and the late Rose Stein;

S. BROOKS BARRON, 95, of Indi-

an Wells, Calif, died Jan. 4. Mr.
Barron graduated from the Universi-
ty of Michigan Law School and was
an attorney and real estate developer.
Connoisseurs of wines, books and
art, Mr. Barron and his wife, Flo-
rence, helped and mentored
unknown artists and collectors.
Together they helped establish the
Meadow Brook Art Gallery at Oak-
land University.
He is survived by his wife, Flo-
rence Barron; son and daughter-in-
law, Guy and Nora Barron of Bloom-
field Hills; grandchildren, Eric Bar-
ron and Marc and Lori Barron.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be

BENJAMIN BASKIN, 82, of Oak

Park, died Jan. 6. Mr. Baskin was a
civil and mining engineer who not
only built dams in Arkansas for the
government but was also a head
engineer for Wayne County Pollu-

tion Control. He was a First Lieu-
tenant in the Army in Manila and
received his bachelor of science
degree in Mining and Civil Engi-
neering from the Michigan College
of Mining and Technology and his
masters degree from the University
of Michigan.
Mr. Baskin is survived by his wife,
Beatrice Baskin; sons and daughters-
in-law, Theodore and Karen Baskin
of Quebec, Mark Baskin and
Suzanne Cascio of Boznia; grandchil-
dren, Jeremy Baskin, Sarah Baskin,
Rebecca Baskin and Isaac Baskin; sis-
ters and brother-in-law, Jean Zarem-
berg of Southfield, Ethel and Perry
Schwartz of Commerce Township;
nieces and nephews, Joyce and Mike
Rosett, Kenneth and Isa Joseph, Judy
and Fred Vocino, Joan Schwartz and
many other loving relatives and
friends.
Interment at Workmens Circle

field, died Jan. 10. She is survived by
many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ethel was the beloved wife of the
late, Mark Benach, mother of the
late, Raymond Benach and sister of

ANDREW BLAU, 81, of West

Bloomfield, died Jan. 7. Mr. Blau
was in used car sales. He was also a
member of Temple Beth El. Mr. Blau
is survived by his wife, Phyllis Blau;

and Fayclare Blau of Bloomfield
Hills; grandchildren, David and Risa
Blau and Randy and Michelle Blau.
He was the loving father of the late
Marsha Blau.

WILLIAM FIELDS, 87, of Farming-

ton Hills, died Dec. 29. Mr. Fields
worked for Bobson Construction in
modernization. He was also a mem-

Richard and Jessica Fields of Orchard

and Jerome Kossoff and grandnieces
and grandnephews. Mr. Fishman was
the dear brother of the late Sara
