Jolson's guitarist Jamie Luria warms up during song

"We went to [BBYO's] Milan
Conference Center with them so we
know them well," said Lee.
Tracy Krochmal, a Ruach volley-
ball player, appreciated the guys'
support. "It's fun to be able to have
people there from other chapters to
root us on," she said. "They are
there because the want to be, not
because the have to.

Winning and
losing are all part
of the fun.

Because RC is a competition,
winning and losing is a big part of
the week. Losing is something that
two chapters, Disraeli BBG and
Posen AZA, have unfortunately
become used to at RC events.
Posen lost to an unmerciful
Greenberg AZA squad in basketball
72-7, after trailing 36-2 at halftime.

rehearsal.

"We had two guys who left for
Florida that would have helped,"
said Posen's Steve Galperin of Brad
Magid and Brad Resnick.
Magid left for Florida after Posen
actually won a game, 38-12, over
Strauss on Friday.
Like Posen, Disraeli had a good
time despite the losses. "We're doing
so bad at everything," said
Samantha Cohen. "We're having fun
anyway.
Finally, in the middle of a hec-
tic day, the BBYO staff took a few
minutes of quiet time to eat lunch,
but not for very long.
"Maybe we get a half-hour to
eat lunch and an hour for dinner,
which we get to between events,"
said associate director Lisa Cutler.
Cutler and Allison Buchman, the
other associate director, showed up
at the JCC around 8:30 a.m. every
day during RC, and left between 11
and 11:30 p.m. each night.
"Everything was great," Buchman
said. Its so fun to get out and
watch the kids." Li
