all the young volunteer's were males.
Rabbi Rafi Rosenberg, the director
of the tamp, said the focus is not only
to take care of the children, but to get
the teenagers, especially boys, to do this
kind of work.
"Lots of people think that
teenagers are hopeless causes and
don't believe in them," he said. "I
want to expose them to things they've
never seen before, and help them with
their maturing processes."
Rosenberg moved here after working
for four years with teenagers in Bogota,
Colombia. The director of the boys
division of the Friendship Circle
Volunteer Club, he spent weeks recruit-
ing volunteers for the camp and the
program at various shuts and schools.
He corralled 25.
Jordan, who volunteered last sum-
mer, has gone to Noah's house once a
