P

erhaps there is no greater symbol of Kavod Ha-Met (honoring the dead) than

the Shomer, the religious watchman who prays for the soul of the deceased. From

the first family we served 57 years ago, to the present, our chapel is staffed with a

Shomer 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our legacy is serving Detroit's Jewish

community with dignity and

adherence to tradition.

In Loving Memory of
Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother

YETTA SARAH DEITCH
ETA SORAH bas
MOSHE LAZAR HAKOHEN

Who passed away December 22, 1994.
Yetta's incredible smile, thoughtfulness, wisdom, lust for life and love will
last forever. Yetta gave us inspiration to better each of our lives.

In memory ofYetta Sarah Deitch is
Margaret E. Bruner's remembrance poem:

This memory of my mother stays with me
Throughout the years: the way she used to stand
Framed in the door when any of her band
Of children left . . . as long as she could see
Their forms, she gazed, as if she seemed to be
Trying to guard — to meet some far demand;
And then before she turned to tasks at hand,
She breathed a little prayer inaudibly.

And now, I think, in some far heavenly place,
She watches still, and yet is not distressed,
But rather as one who, after life's long race,
Has found contentment in a well-earned rest,
There, in a peaceful dreamlike reverie,
She waits, from earthly cares forever free.

Yetta, we miss you so much!
May God bless Yetta Sarah Deitch and may Yetta Sarah Deitch's name be re-
membered in all generations. May Yetta Sarah Deitch be acknowledged forever
and ever.
Her loving sons Morris Deitch and Harry Deitch
