The Menorah Show,
an invitational art
show of one-of-a-kind
handmade menorahs,
created by 30 talented
local and national
artists, is currently at
the Somerset
Collection South, Troy.
Janis Wetsman, of the
Wetsman Collection in
Birmingham, is cura-
tor of the exhibit.
"This gives our won-
derful artists in the
Detroit area a vehicle
for more exposure. I
chose national and
local artisans who rep-
resent the art commu-
nity," said Wetsman.
Sponsored by the
Jewish Federation in
honor of the 100th
year anniversary of the
organized Jewish com-
munity in Detroit, the
exhibit will run
through Dec. 13. All
menorahs on display
will be available for
purchase.
