ing at the Holocaust
Memorial Center
and at Temple Israel. An honor stu-
dent at Abbott Middle School in West
Bloomfield, Seth particularly enjoys
tennis, snowboarding, golf, football
and sailing.

are Roslyn and Milt
Weinger and Elinor
and Dr. Nathan
Rubin. Participating
in the ceremony
will be her parents
and sister.
Jamie is a sev-
enth-grade honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in
West Bloomfield. She participates
and competes in dance, enjoys
drama, skiing and fashion design.

Emily Shira Levine
will be called to the
Torah as a bat mitz-
vah at Congregation
Beth Shalom on
Saturday, Dec. 5.
Emily is the daugh-
ter of Charlene
Gordon and Steven
Levine and the sister of Seth Levine.
She is the granddaughter of David
and Evelyn Levine, Rose Gordon
and the late Edward Gordon.
Emily is an honor student at
Norup Middle School in Oak Park
and plans to continue her Jewish
education at Beth Shalom following
her bat mitzvah. Emily enjoys play-
ing the viola, canoeing and soccer.
As a mitzvah project, Emily will
contribute to the Craniofacial Clinic
at Providence Hospital.

Amanda Ossipove
was called to the
Torah as a bat mitz-
vah on Saturday,
Nov. 28, at Congre-
gation B'nai Moshe.
She is the daughter
of Judy and Ron
Ossipove and the
sister of Adam Ossipove. Amanda is
the granddaughter of Rose Fineman
Katz and the late Albert Fineman.
and of Julia Ossipove and the late
Samuel Ossipove.
Amanda wore a tallit given to her
by her brother Adam, who brought
it from Israel on his return from the
First Teen Mission.
Amanda attends Hillel Day
School in Farmington Hills where
she is an honor student in Hebrew
studies. She is active in school sports
such as cross country, basketball,
soccer and volleyball.
She enjoys spending time on the
computer and being with her
friends. Her interests are art, clay
figures and dancing. Amanda's art-
work has been on display in the
Fisher Building.

Paul Gross will cel-
ebrate his bar mitz-
vah at Beth Israel
Congregation in
Ann Arbor on Sat-
urday, Dec. 5. Paul
is the son of Susan
and Barry Gross
and the brother of
Carrie and Lauren.
Proud grandmothers are Toby
Hersen and Pearl Gross. Paul is also
the grandson of the late Ben Hersen
and the late Paul Gross.
An honor student at Greenhills
School in Ann Arbor, Paul is on the
soccer, cross country, basketball and
baseball teams. He also plays ice
hockey. Nov that he is a bar mitz-
vah, he will regularly attend services
one evening a week to help make a
minyan.

Jamie Rubin will be called to the
Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday,
Dec. 5, at Congregation B'nai
Moshe. She is the daughter of Nori
and Larry Rubin, sister of Rachel.
