In a saucepan, heat oil over high
heat. Add the mushrooms and saute
3 minutes until edges are brown.
Reduce heat to medium. Stir in
flour and cook for 1 minute. Add
the chicken bouillon, onions, cur-
rant jelly, lemon pepper seasoning,
and sage. Bring to simmer, stirring
constantly. Cook 2 minutes to
thicken slightly. Serve with barbe-
cued chicken. Makes about 1 1/2
cups.

ROASTED CARROT AND
CELERY STICKS (PARVE)
1 (12-ounce) bag fresh carrot sticks
16 fresh celery sticks
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
garlic powder
Preheat broiler. Spray a broiler pan
with non-stick vegetable spray. Cut
five or six 1/2-inch slits in the plastic
bag containing the carrots.
Microwave at high for 3 minutes.
Spread carrot and celery sticks on the
prepared pan. Brush with olive oil,
sprinkle with lemon pepper seasoning
and garlic powder. Broil 6 inches
from heat until edges are browned, 6-
8 minutes. Serves 6.
