SAMUEL LASKER, 89, of Southfield,
died NOV. 12. He is survived by his
daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and
Ronald Harris of Southfield; grandchil-
dren, Elana Harris and Andrew Harris.
Mr. Lasker was the beloved husband of
the late Alice Lasker.

CONSTANCE ELAINE (TOWLEN)
LOVINGER, 66, formerly of Detroit
of Waukegan, Ill., died Nov. 10. She is
survived by her son, Jeffery (Jeanette)
Lovinger; daughters, Marcia Roberts
and Diane (Mike) Wendricks; sisters,
Geraldine Weingarden of Southfield,
Adele (Irving) Steinberg of Farming-
ton Hills; brother, Harvey Towlen of
Lake Wales, Fla.; seven grandchildren.
Services were held at Temple Am

Cemete.ry.
ROBERT J. NOVAK, 60, of West
Bloomfield, died Nov. 5. Mr. Novak
was a Systems Manager at EDS. He
was also a member of Birmingham
Temple and the Franklin Racquet
Club. Mr. Novak is survived by his
wife, Anita Novak; sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, David and Heidi Novak of
Northville, Steven and Rebecca Novak
of Troy; son-in-law of Al and Toby
Davis of Southfield; grandchildren,
Sophia, Nicholas, Elizabeth; father
and stepmother, Harry and Sharney
Novak of Windsor, Ontario, Canada
and sister and brother-in-law, Nancy
and George Miron of Arlington, Va.
He was the beloved son of the late
Bessie Novak.
Interment at Beth El Memorial
Park. Contributions may be directed
to the American Cancer Society and
the American Diabetes Association.
