Matthew Share Saretsky of Birming-
ham will become a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Oct. 10, at Temple Kol
Ami. He is the son
of Gary and Judy
Share Saretsky,
brother of Elyse,
and grandson of
Ruth and Nat Share
and Ted Saretsky.
He is also the
grandson of the late
Shreda Saretsky.
Matthew is an honor student at
Derby Middle School in Birming-
ham. He enjoys forensics, playing
baseball, golf and attending Camp
Tamakwa. He appeared in Birming-
ham Seaholm High School's produc-
tion of Fiddler on the Roof last
spring.
For his mitzvah projects, Matthew
helped at the Yad Ezra warehouse, set
up a drive for household items to be
donated to incoming Russian immi-
grants and participated in a bottle
drive to raise money for the Make-A-
Wish Foundation and the American
Cancer Society.

Gregory Franklyn Kaplan will be
called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
on Saturday, Oct. 10, at Congrega-
tion Shaarey Zedek.
Greg is the son of
c Gail and Robert
Kaplan and the
brother of Ilyse and
Emily.
Proud grandpar-
ents Phil and Diane
Kaplan will be with
him to celebrate his
simchah. Greg is the grandson of the
late Essie and Itzie Rosenbloom.

School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. He is a talented
athlete and loves computers.

will become a bar mitzvah on Satur-
day, Oct. 10, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek B'nai
Israel. Rabbi
Leonardo Bitran
will lead the ser-
vices.
