Ecumenical Tour
Coming Sunday

The Ecumenical Institute for Jewish-
Christian Studies will host its
annual church-synagogue tour on
Sunday, Oct. 4. It will begin at 1:30
p.m.
The tour will start at St. Dennis
Church, 2200 E. 12 Mile, Royal
Oak, then move to First Presbyterian
Church, 529 Hendrie, Royal Oak,
and Temple Emanu-El, 14450 W.
10 Mile, Oak Park. At each site,
there will be a chance to ask ques-
tions.
The annual program allows par-
ticipants to visit three different
houses of worship, meet with
clergy and learn more about the reli-
gious beliefs of those who worship
there.

Eilu v' Eilu will host a four-
part Latte and Learning adult
study group with Rabbi Aaron
Bergman titled "Who Wrote the
Bible?"
The series will be hosted by
Borders Books and Music, 30995
Orchard Lake Road, Farmington
Hills, on Mondays from 10 to 11
a.m. beginning Oct. 19. Each ses-
sion is self-contained and can be
attended independently.
Tuition is $20 for the series or $5
per session for members of the spon-
soring organizations. For others,
tuition is $28 for the series or $7
per session. Advance registration is
not required.

At MSU Hillel

Koach and Reform Chavurah will hold
dinner in the sukkah 6:30 p.m. Sunday,
Oct. 4, at Hillel. Call (517) 332-1916
for reservations.
Hebrew classes will begin at Hillel 8
p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7; call Hillel to
register.
"Drums Under the Stars" will take
place 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, in the
sukkah at Hillel.
Hillel will hold Shabbat dinner at 6
p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at Hillel; call (517)
