sweep of the tap division, in the Aug.
16-23 international competition hosted
by the Jewish Community Center of
Metropolitan Detroit.
Jessica Silverman, Julie Shulman and
Ashley Levine took gold, silver and
•,..bronze in the solo tap dance division,
with Shulman and Silverman winning
the jazz duo division.
Karley Abramson and Rachel
Solomon tied for silver in solo jazz. Jori
Siegler took bronze in the solo open
division.
In the tap duo, Hillary Heuer and .
Arielle Berlin took silver, and Heuer
t eamed with Lauren Garfield, Lori
'Robinson and Jackie Heller to win the
bronze in the group jazz competition.

Morgenthau Softball
Wins Again
The Morgenthau Lodge won its third
consecutive B'nai B'rith softball title,
12-5 over Brotherhood I. Morgenthau
so finished first in the regular season
for the fourth straight year.
Morgenthau was paced by Al
Mudryk, Loren Allen, Jeff Lebowitz,
Alan Borsen, Joel Waterstone and Iry
Kriszenfeld. All had 3-for-4 hitting per-
formances in the title game.
