tudents in the Akiva Hebrew
Day School nursery and
kindergarten, along with
1 teachers Lissie Rothstein, Susie
Goldman and Rivkah Nachias,
recently visited with residents at
Elan Village in Southfield. As the
afternoon began, a chorus of tiny
voices sang Rosh Hashanah songs
to the senior citizens, after which
the children presented the residents
with flowers and New Year% cards.
At the conclusion of the program,
the two groups joined for cookies
and juice, with the little ones
promising to return.
