Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Beim of Bloom-
field Hills, Mrs. Heloise Nathan of
Golf, Ill., and Mr. Larry Silverstein of
Citrus Heights, Calif., are very pleased
to announce the engagement of their
children Renee Ilise Beim and Mark
Jay Silverstein.

Renee, a graduate of Indiana Universi-
ty, is employed in the Chicago office
of Geiger-Brickel International. Mark
graduated from Arizona State Univer-
sity and is employed as sales manager
for Carnegie Mortgage of Chicago.
An October wedding is planned.

Klein-Krause

Alissa Jill Klein and Bruce Alfredo
Krause Jr. were recently married at the
Harborage Marina overlooking Lake
Charlevoix in Boyne City. Rabbi Arnie
Sleutelberg of Congregation Shir Tik-
vah officiated.
Alissa is the daughter of Dr. Don
and Eileen Klein of Bloomfield Hills.
Bruce is the son of Mr. Bruce and Noni
Krause of Annapolis, Md.
Cindy Cohen, sister of the bride was
matron of honor. Bridesmaids were -
Shelly Klein, sister-in-law of the bride;
Jennifer Krause and Lauren Krause, sis-
ters of the groom; Debbie Basler, Julie
Gassman, and Denise Arthurs, close

friends of the bride. Cassidy Klein, the
bride's niece, was the flower girl.
The best man was Fred Cook, friend
of the groom. Groomsmen were Steven
Klein, brother of the bride; Tim Powell,
Tim Sanford and Dan Dapprich,
friends of the groom. Alec Cohen,
nephew of the bride was the junior
groomsman. Also participating in the
ceremony was Jack Eserow, grandfather
of the bride.
An outdoor dinner reception fol-
lowed at Stafford's One Water Street.
Following a honeymoon in Costa
Rica, Alissa and Bruce reside in Birm-
ingham.
