Bar/Bat Mitzvah

recently had one of his poems published
in the Young American Anthology of
Poetry.

Devorah Alyssa Glanz will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday,
Sept. 5 at congregation B'nai Moshe.
Devorah is the daughter of Marlene and
Larry Glanz. Proud grandparents are
Johnny and Suzanne Katz and David
and Nancy Glanz. Devorah is also the
granddaughter of the late Dorothy
Katz.

Devorah is an
honor student at
Warner Middle
School in Farming-
ton Hills. She enjoys
playing the piano,
music, movies,
reading. For her
mitzvah project,
Devorah volunteered at the Farming-
ton Hills Library. Devorah also plant-
ed a JNF Garden in Israel in honor of
her bat mitzvah guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Rochman (Joce-
lyn), former Detroiters now of
Phoenix, Ariz., announce the engage-
ment of their daughter Renee to Tom
Moffitt, son of Mr. Tom Moffitt, Lau-
rel Hill, N.C.

Renee is employed as media direc-
