EVELYN V. DEUTSCH, of Bloom-
field Hills, died Aug. 26. Mrs.
Deutsch received her bachelor of sci-
ence degree in library science from
Carnegie Tech.
She is survived by her daughter
and son-in-law, Dorothy and Dr.
Dan Levitsky of Bloomfield Hills;
grandchildren Diane and Jonathan
Mark, David Levitsky; brother and
sisters-in-law, C. William and Louise
Vatz of Highland Park, Ill., Claire
Vatz of Boca Raton, Fla.; sister, Leah
Levy of Boca Raton, Fla. Mrs.
Deutsch was the beloved wife of the
late Mathew Deutsch. Interment at
Westview Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
Contributions may be made to the
Ronald McDonald House of Detroit.
Arrangements by the Ira Kaufman
Chapel.

LILLIAN F. ELSON, 84, of South-
field, died Aug. 29. Ms. Elson was a
teacher and a member of Jewish
Women International.
She is survived by her daughter,
Peggy Elson of Southfield; son and
daughter-in-law, Mark Elson and
Jeannine Stein of Los Angeles; nieces
and nephews, Donald and Kay
Wurm, Larry and Janis Warren,
Christine Wurm and Mike, Jeffrey
and Stephanie Warren.
Interment at Machpelah Ceme-
tery. Contributions may be made to
a charity of one's choice. Arrange-
ments by the Ira Kaufman Chapel.

JOSEPH FAIGIN, 87, of Southfield,

He is survived by his wife, Ann
Faigin; son and daughter-in-law, Dr.
Al and Nancy Faigin of Fort Worth,
Texas; daughter, Linda Wayne of
West Bloomfield; brother and sister-
in-law, Henry and Frieda Faigin of
Southfield; sister, Elsie Katz of
Southfield; grandchildren, Jennifer
Faigin, Jaimy Faigin, Karl Wayne,
'Renee Wayne.
