JVS Helps
Women To Work

Homemakers who have been out of
the work force for an extended period
and need a job are invited to attend a
free Jewish Vocational Service (WS)
Women to Work information meeting
10 a.m.-noon Wednesday, Aug. 12, at
JVS, 29699 Southfield Road,
Southfield.
The meeting will provide an
overview of the JVS Women to Work
program, designed to help those who
have lost their source of income fol-
lowing separation, divorce, death or
disablement of a spouse.

Movie Event

Jewish Women International Council
of Metropolitan Detroit will host
JWI Meets JWI at the Movies 9 a.m.

Entertainment Centre.

social hour. At 10 a.m., the movie
Saving Private Ryan will be shown.
