Huntington Woods, died July 28.
Mrs. Karabenick was a member of
Beth Shalom.
She is survived by her husband,
George Karabenick; son and daughter-
in-law, Stuart and Julie Karabenick of
Ann Arbor; grandchildren, Robin
Leavy, Scott and Brenda Karabenick,
Rachel Karabenick, Leah Karabenick;
brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frecin
and Rhoda Rapoport and Mary
Brooks of Southfield. She was the sis-
ter of the late Harriet Rapoport; sister-
in-law of the late Abraham and Char-
lotte Burnstein.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

DIANA LESSER, 47, of Southfield,
died July 15.
She is survived by her brothers
and sister-in-law, Andrew and Isobel
Lesser of Ferndale, Monty Lesser;
father, Hyman Lesser; stepfather,
William Geer of West Bloomfield;
nephew and niece, Shane and Sabri-
na Lesser. She was the loving daugh-
ter of the late Marthann "Marty"
Lesser Geer.
Interment at Victoria Memorial
Garden Cemetery in Ontario.

IDA NOVIN, 99, of Southfield, died
July 21. Ms. Novin was literary proof-
reader.
She is survived by her sisters, Mil-
dred Novin of Southfield, Sara Lip-

Janet and Jerome Rosman, Laura and
Barry Pike, Norma and Steve Heller;
great-nieces and great-nephews,
