ALICE FABER, 82, of Farmington
died July 22. Mrs. Farber was a
member of Temple Israel and the
Infant Service Group.
She is survived by her son and

Redlich of West Bloomfield, Lia Wiss
of Ann Arbor; son-in-law, Dr. David

granddaughters, Samantha and Han-

shansky. Mrs. Farber was the beloved

JEROME HARRIS, 84, of West
Bloomfield, died July 27. Mr. Harris
was a criminal law attorney with
offices in Detroit and Livonia. He was
a 1960 graduate of the Detroit Col-
lege of Law. Prior to law school, Mr.
Harris was a bailiff for the Common
Police Court.
He is survived by his wife, Helene
Harris; sons and daughter-in-law, Dr.
Joel and Michelle Harris of Farming-
ton Hills, Dennis Harris of Livonia;
grandchildren, Marsha and Alan Har-
ris. Interment at Clover Hill Park

JEFFREY HOPP, 39, of Ann Arbor,
Flint of Long Beach, Calif. He was a
licensed real estate broker in Califor-
nia, a past member of Congregation
B'nai Israel in Flint and a member of
Temple Beth David in Huntington
beach, Calif
He is survived by his wife, Esther;
daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and
Harold Blumeno, Jacqueline and
Donald Hewitt; grandchildren, Jill
and Howard Gurwin, Glenn Blumeno
and fiance Sharon Kervirtis, Matthew
and Jennifer Allyn; great-grandchil-
dren, Amanda and Brian Gurwin; sis-
fers-in-law, Bertha Gordon Kurzman,
Eva Yunis. He was the beloved hus-
band of the late Ida Forman. Grave-
side services will be at 11:30 a.m. Sun-
day, Aug. 2, at Machpelah Cemetery
in Flint; services Sunday evening only,
7:30 p.m. at the home of Jill and
Howard Gurwin. Arrangements by

Farmington Hills, died July 25. For
over 40 years, Mr. Horwitz practiced
law. He was a graduate of the Univer-
sity of Michigan, Wayne State Univer-
sity Law School and a member of the
Tau Epsilon Rho Law Fraternity. Mr.
Horwitz was also a mediator for the
Michigan Tribunal Association, served
for the University of Michigan
Regents Alumni Scholarship Program
and was a member of Congregation
Shaarey Zedek.
He is survived by his wife of 41
