For Millenium

The Agency for Jewish Education's
Educational Exchange at Barnes &
Noble Booksellers will feature Rabbi
Norman Roman from Temple Kol
Ami at its next program, Monday,
June 8, 7-8:30 p.m. in West Bloom-
field.
Rabbi Roman will present "Back to
the Future: Jewish Moments in Past
Millenniums as We Prepare for the
Next One."
The Educational Exchange is open
to the community and free of charge.

The B'nai B'rith Accountant's Unit
will hold an evening seminar Tues-
day, June 9, in the Jewish Communi-

ty Center Library in West Bloom-
field.
The topic will be "Increasing the
Revenues From Your Practice: The
Case for Contingent Fees and Com-
missions," presented by Steven C.
Dilley, professor of accounting at
Michigan State University and presi-
dent of Federal Tax Workshops, Inc.
Registration and dinner is at 6:30
p.m. and the seminar will begin at 7.
The cost is $10 and the program is
worth 2 hours CPE.

Guest Rabbis

Congregation Beth Achim will have
two guest teachers during the Shab-
bat service 8:45 a.m. Saturday, June
6.
Rabbi Samuel M. Stahl, rabbi of
Temple Beth El in San Antonio,
Texas, and former editor of the Jour-
nal of Reform Judaism, will give a
D'var Torah on the Torah portion.
Rabbi Samuel E. Karff, rabbi of Con-
gregation Beth Israel in Houston,
Texas, and former president of the
CCAR, will speak on the haftorah
portion.

Dedicates Plaques

Adat Shalom Synagogue will hold its
annual dedication of yahrzeit plaques
placed in the synagogue's Main Sanctu-
ary during the past year on Sunday,
June 7. Families and friends of individ-
uals whose plaques will be unveiled are
invited to gather at 12 noon at the syn-
agogue for Minchah services and the
dedication ceremony.
