On May 10, 1996,
after six weeks
of climbing, Lou
Kasischke was 400

highest mountain in the
world. He faced a life
and death decision.
Eight climbers died.
Lou survived — even
after being trapped
near the top, snowblind

our stress buster," Linda Erlich says.

steam or get a little quick exercise
while on the job.
Included in the company's staff of
53 are account representatives,
account executives, information ser-
vices experts and marketing and
human resources employees. As for
Linda Erlich, she now likes to call her-
self "the mother of the president."
She's also grandmother extraordinaire.
Every Wednesday, she picks up Craig's
8-month-old son for a day of "just
hanging out ... for grandma and
grandson." Erlich says she now feels
comfortable enough with the business
to phase herself out of the daily opera-
tions. ❑
