Plan Installation
The Detroit chapter of Brandeis
University National Women's Com-
mittee will hold its spring installa-
tion luncheon noon Wednesday,
iiMay 20, at the Parthenon House,
West Bloomfield. The featured
speaker will be Nancy Leifer dis-
cussing "The Southern Jewish Expe-
rience.
Officers to be installed include
the presidential council: Beverly
Baker, Dee Fishman, Nora Peisner,
Shirley Sachs, Ruth Seligson, Ruth
Share; vice presidents, Fran Kepes-
membership, Sue Salesin-tributes
and Harriet Shogan-programming;
recording secretary-Vivian Koblen;
corresponding secretary-Ada Walt;
financial secretary-Joan Braun; trea-
surer-Eleanor Roberts; assistant trea-
surer-Beverly Sabbath; and intern-

to sisterhood, but
also to the syna-
gogue. Mrs. Her-
man has been a

member of Con-
gregation Beth Shalom for 44 years.
• As a member of sisterhood she
• served as president for four years,
vice president of membership, vice
president of education and she co-
chaired the Chanukah Bazaar,
Passover Workshop and the Donor
Luncheon. For the synagogue, Mrs.
Herman served as Youth Commis-
sion Chair for eight years and co-
chaired the cultural commission and
I' the membership committee with her
husband, Irving.
This year's proceeds are earmarked
for the Capital Campaign and the
new Educational Building and Nurs-
ery School.
