LEONARD H. WEINER, 86, of
Southfield, died May 11. After grad-
uating from high school at age 15, .
he attended Morningside College in
Sioux City and obtained a bachelor
of science in business administration
from the University of Minnesota.
He then earned both a master's in
business administration and a juris
doctor at the University of Michi-
gan, Ann Arbor. While in law
school, he was elected to the Coif
honor society and was on the staff of
the Michigan Law Review. He was
president and trustee of the DeRoy
Foundation and sat on many com-
munity boards, including the
Detroit Symphony Orchestra Board
and Beaumont Foundation. He was
president of the Detroit Tennis and
Squash Club and served on the
board of the National Squash Associ-
ation.
Mr. Weiner is survived by his
wife, Josephine Weiner; daughter,
Sarah Keidan of Farmington Hills;
grandchildren, Laura and Craig
Martin, Mimi and Phil Seltzer;
great-grandchildren, Harrison and
Samuel Seltzer, Joshua Martin.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be

Bloomfield, died May 6. Ms Weiss
was a travel agent executive. She was
also a member of Hadassah,
Women's American ORT and ASTA.
Ms. Weiss is survived by her sons
and daughters-in-law, Steyen and
Linda Weiss of West.13100field, Dr.
Matthew Weiss and :D.r; ..Jean Nelson
of Fenton, Richard ari4Penise
Weiss of Farmington; grandchildren,

Samantha, Jeffrey, Jordan, Jessica
and Jacob. She was the loving
daughter of the late Sophie and
Philip Rogolsky; dear daughter-in-
law of the late Julia Weiss. Inter-
ment at Beth El Memorial Park.

SARAH (SCHNEIDER) WEISS,
98, formerly of Miami Beach, Flori-
da, and New York City, died May 10
at Darlington House, i Toledo nurs-
ing home. She was a native of Rus-
sia.
Survivors include her son, Mor-
timer Weiss of West Bloomfield;
granddaughter, Bonnie (Dr. Steven)
Winograd of Kalamazoo; two great-
grandchildren. She was the loving
wife of the late Barnett Weiss.
Services and interment at Mount
Judah Cemetery, Brooklyn, N.Y.

End Funeral Chapel, Brooklyn.

LISA ANN WELLNER, 24, former-
ly of West Bloomfield of Kingwood,
Texas, died April 27.
She is survived by her parents,
Simon and Carol Wellner; sister,
Jodi Wellner; brother, Michael Well-
ner; grandparents, Marcus and Paula
Last of Walled Lake, Henry and Eva
