After grad- uating from high school at age 15, . he attended Morningside College in Sioux City and obtained a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Minnesota. He then earned both a master's in business administration and a juris doctor at the University of Michi- gan, Ann Arbor. While in law school, he was elected to the Coif honor society and was on the staff of the Michigan Law Review. He was president and trustee of the DeRoy Foundation and sat on many com- munity boards, including the Detroit Symphony Orchestra Board and Beaumont Foundation. He was president of the Detroit Tennis and Squash Club and served on the board of the National Squash Associ- ation. Mr. Weiner is survived by his wife, Josephine Weiner; daughter, Sarah Keidan of Farmington Hills; grandchildren, Laura and Craig Martin, Mimi and Phil Seltzer; great-grandchildren, Harrison and Samuel Seltzer, Joshua Martin.
