the unusual and most interesting
gourmet series by Temple Emanu-El
Sisterhood that draws 120 to 150 peo-
ple at each session.
It's the Jews of The World series,
with each dinner depicting the food of
a different country and temple's rabbi
(now Joseph Klein), talking about the
Jews of that nation.
Next up is Brazil, Saturday, May
16, 6:30 p.m., at Temple Emanu-El,
10 Mile between Coolidge and Green-
field in Oak. Park.
Caterer for the series, La Bonne
Table (Sonja Szakal), researches food
of whatever country is chosen ... The
$20 charge includes hors d'oeuvres,
wine, entertainment in the foyer ...
before a five-course dinner.
