Tap Ensemble
Entertains

A toe-tapping afternoon is in s - -tore
noon Tuesday, May 19, when the
Tap Ensemble from the Center for
Creative Studies entertains at a lun-
cheon sponsored by the Beth Elders
of Temple Beth El.
The charge for the event is $8 for
members and $9 for guests. Deadline
for reservations is Thursday, May 14.

Program Set

Charlotte Edelheit of Southfield will
chair the Adat Shalom Synagogue
Sisterhood Annual Donor Day lun-
cheon and program 10 a.m. Tuesday,
May 5, at the synagogue.
Featuring a presentation by
nationally recognized photojournalist
Linda
Solomon,
Donor Day
events will
begin with
coffee and
an array of
boutiques.
Lunch
will be
served at
noon. Prior
to Ms.
Solomon's
Charlotte Edelheit
talk, the
group will
pay tribute to past sisterhood presi-
dent Hanna Linden for her longtime
service to the sisterhood, the syna-
gogue and the community.
Proceeds from Adat Shalom
Donor Day support many worthy
causes, including Yad Ezra, Camp
Ramah in the Ukraine, a twin sister-
hood in Israel, the Jewish Braille
Institute, the Jewish Theological
Seminary, and a variety of Adat
Shalom programs, including its
Youth Department.
Advance reservations for Donor
