Kimberly Dana Shindel of
Farmington Hills will become a bat
mitzvah at Adat Shalom Synagogue
2 on Saturday,
April 25.
Kimberly is
the daughter of
Beverly Shindel
and David
Shindel and the
sister of
Nicholas. Proud
grandparents are
Nettie and Leon
Hoffman of Tucson, Ariz.
Kimberly is a seventh-grade honor
student at Dunckel Middle School.
Her interests include reading, writ-
ing, music, movies and the comput-
er.
Her mitzvah project included
packing and distributing Shabbat
dinners for Yad Ezra. A party in her

2 honor will be held on Sunday, April
26, at the Cadillac Cafe.

Michael Fleischmann

Michael Jacob Fleischmann will lead
the Havdalah services at his bar
mitzvah celebration on Saturday,
April 25, at
Congregation
Shaarey Zedek.
Michael is the
son of Yosef and
Martha Jo
Fleischmann, the
brother of
Jonathan,
Manuel and
Naomi, the
grandson of Leah and Charles
Snider, and Bella and the late
Mickey Fleischmann.
He is an eighth-grade honors stu-
dent at West Hills Middle School.
He owns Cosmos Computing, his
own computer services company, and
loves writing, science, math, public
speaking, basketball and handball.
