The relationship between Jews and
African-Americans will be the subject
of the Institute for Retired
Professionals next lunch and learn at
12:15 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at the
my Prentis Morris Jewish
Community Center. Featured speakers
will be Maxine Grumet and Michele
Morgan. Dr. Grumet is a psychologist
who practices in Birmingham. Dr.
Morgan is a psychiatrist in private
practice in Detroit.
There is no charge for the program
and guests are welcome.

BBYO Plans
Community Action
Michigan Region BBYO will partici-
pate with the Motor City Blight
Buster program on Sunday, April 19.
BBYO members work through the
BBYO program called TASC, Teens
Actively Serving the Community.
articipants will help clear an area to
prepare it for new housing being built
by Habitat for Humanity. Those
working on this project will leave the
Kahn JCC by chartered bus at 8:30
a.m. and return at 1:30 p.m.
Michigan region BBYO will send
three delegates to the March of the
Living program. They are David
Rochkind of Marx AZA, Naomi Loebl
of Brice BBG and Arianna Gordon of
Brice BBG. March of the Living is a
holocaust education program held in
Poland and Israel. Our delegates will be
traveling from April 20 through May 5.
Michigan Region Board of
Directors will hold its monthly meet-
ing 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at
the Kahn JCC. For information on
