At The JCC

The Kahn Jewish Community Center
will offer an afternoon of dancing 2
p.m. Tuesday, May 12. The Glassman
Parry will feature the music of Sam
arnett and his Orchestra. There is no

BAHM Marks
Yom HaShoah

ongregation Beth Abraham Hillel
Moses will observe Yom HaShoah
with a study session on the writings of
Primo Levy, the Italian writer who was
a survivor of the Holocaust. Rabbi
Bergman will lead the discussion 7:30-
9 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, at the
synagogue.
There will be a Yom HaShoah ser-

vice featuring the students from the
religious school and congregational
seniors who are survivors of the
Holocaust 5-6 p.m. Thursday, April
23. There will be a candlelighting cer-
emony, prayers for the 6 million, and
sharing of stories by survivors.
The community is invited.

in the annual AIPAC Policy

Community educator Ruth Bergman
will lead an adult Torah study session
especially for (but not limited to),
women at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 26, at

Hills. The shiur is in honor of the new
month of Iyai and Yom Ha'atzma'ut
(Israel Independence Day).
Ms. Bergman's shiur is titled
"Remembering Israel's Renewal: Rosh
Hodesh and the Rebirth of the Jewish
State." It is part of a free, monthly
Sunday night series hosted by Borders
and sponsored by Eilu v'Eilu, the
adult Jewish learning project. All adult
learners are invited, regardless of affili-
ation, background or previous Jewish
