Community Council has been
announced. The election will be held at
Council's annual meeting on Thursday,
June 11.
Howard I. Wallach has been nomi-
nated to serve for a second year as coun-
cil president. Kathleen Straus has been
nominated as president-elect. Vice presi-
dential candidates are Jim Alexander
and Ann Zousmar. Betsy Winkelman is
nominated as secretary, and Steve Silver-
man as treasurer.
Slated to fill three-year terms on the
board of directors are Judge Maxine
Berman, Pearlena Bodzin, Harvey Bron-
stein, Robert Brown, Shari Cohen,
Elaine C. Driker, Gerald L. Goldberg,
Arline Gould, Jeffrey Ram, Eli Saulson,
Claude Schochet, Rabbi Levi Shemtov,
Deanna Sperka, Gary Torgow, Wendy
Wagenheim and Trudy Weiss.
David Fink has been nominated for a
two-year term on the board of directors.
Nominees for one-year terms are Ned
Greenberg and Ellie Slovis.
Additional nominations for any elec-
tive office may be made by petition
signed by at least five qualified delegates.
Only one nominee may be named in
each petition. Petitions must be deliv-
ered to the Council office by Monday,
April 20.

Is Canceled

SPACE for Changing Families, a non-
sectarian community service project, is
canceling "How To Make The Commu-
nity A Helpful Place For Everyone,"
which was scheduled for 7 p.m. April
16. The program was inadvertently
scheduled on the seventh day of
Passover.
The program will be rescheduled.

Interfaith
Discussion

Interfaith Connection will sponsor
a four-part discussion series for inter-
faith couples called "Let's Talk," begin-
ning 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at
the Agency for Jewish Education, 21550
West 12 Mile, Southfield. Workshop fee
is $5 per person for all four sessions.
