A biblical video mini series will take
place 1 p.m. Mondays, April 13 ,and
May 11, at the Jewish Community Cen-
ter in Oak Park. The first, Davie4 is free
of charge.
The Charles & Frances Driker Yid-
dish Culture Fund will sponsor its annu-
al third seder noon Thursday, April 16,
at JPM. Cantor Sidney Resnick, accom-
panied by Lillian Zellman, will lead this
celebration. There is a charge. Tickets are
on an availability basis only. For infor-
mation, call the JPM, (248) 967-4030.
Adult art classes, instructed by Harri-
et Gelfond, are held every Monday,
Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m.-
noon. This is a beginning class using
various media. There is a charge which
includes art supplies.
The Wednesday afternoon social is 1
p.m. Broadway show times and Yiddish
melodies are presented. Refreshments
are served. There is a charge for this
event.
Weekly Erev Shabbat services with
Cantor David Gutman take place on
Fridays at 12:45 p.m.

Afterlife
Is Explored

Rabbi Aaron Bergman of Congregation
Beth Abraham Hillel Moses will teach a
• new five-part Latte & Learning adult
• Jewish study series tided "Jewish Views
of the Afterlife," beginning April 20.
The series will meet 10-11 a.m.
Monday mornings at Borders Books
and Music, 30995 Orchard Lake Road,
Farmington Hills. Other session dates
will be April 27, May 4, 11 and 18.
Tuition for the series is $25 for mem-
bers of sponsoring organizations; $35
f or others. Students also may register for
individual sessions: $5 for Eilu Eilu
members; $7 for others. Advance regis-
tration is appreciated but walk-in regis-
tration will be accommodated.

Grief Support
Program Set

(- Elaine Krohn Medwed, a bereavement
counselor, will begin an eight-week grief
support program at Hebrew Memorial
Chapel 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 8,
for those who have recently experienced
a loss.
There is no charge, but reservations
are a must. Call Hebrew Memorial
