Bereavement Support Group.
The group will begin Tuesday, April 21, 1998, 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. and will
continue for six consecutive weeks ( April 28, May 5, May 12, May 19 and May
26). Simona A. Seiderman, M.S.W., A.C.S.W., D.C.S.W will be the facilitator.

pecans, and raisins, and pulse until
just combined. Transfer mixture to a
large bowl.
In a mixing bowl with electric
mixer, beat egg whites with salt until
stiff but moist peaks form. Stir 1/4 of
the whites into carrot batter. Add
remaining whites and fold together
until blended. Pour batter into pre-
pared pan, smoothing the top.
To Bake: Bake for 30 minutes.
Cover loosely with foil and continue
baking for 30 more minutes, or until
a cake tester inserted in the center
comes out clean and sides pull away -
from pan. Remove foil and cool on
rack for 20 minutes. Run a sharp
knife around the edge and remove
sides of pan. Invert cake onto a cake `-`
plate with rimmed edges, or heavy
foil and cool to room temperature.
(Cake may be refrigerated up to 2
days or frozen, tightly wrapped.
Bring to room temperature before
glazing.)
To Make Glaze: In a small
saucepan, melt margarine. Remove
from heat and stir in orange juice,
brown sugar, and potato starch. Cook
over low heat, stirring constantly, until
smooth. Bring to a boil for 3 to 4 sec-
onds, stirring constantly. Remove
from heat and cool until thick enough
to glaze the cake.
To Glaze: Pour evenly over top and
sides of cake, using a small spatula if
necessary to smooth sides. Glaze will
form a pool on cake plate. (Cake may —)
be refrigerated, uncovered, overnight. 'n
Bring to room temperature before
serving.)
To Serve: Garnish top with orange
slices or shredded orange eel.
Makes: 8 to 10 servings.

Divorce Support Group
The group will begin on Sunday, May 17, 1998, 9:45

to 11:00 a.m. and will continue for six weeks

Alzheimer's Support Group
This group, designed to help caretakers of loved ones suffering from
Alzheimer's Disease or other forms of dementia, meets on alternate Sundays
from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for April 26, 1998 and
will continue through June 28, 1998. Margie Fuller, M.A. is the facilitator.

Physically Challenged "F.U.N." Group
This group will begin on April 14, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and will continue for
six weeks (April 30, May 7, May 21, June 4, June 18 and June 30). "F"lourish,
"U"nite "N"urture and meet other families of the physically challenged.
