Machon Hosts
Three Programs

Machon L'Torah, the Jewish Learn-
ing Network of Michigan, will hold
an informative Shabbat experience
6:45 p.m. Friday, March 20, at the
Jewish Resource Center in Ann
Arbor. The program will feature
Rabbi Avraham Jacobovitz on "Plu-
ralism: Unity or Hypocrisy." Dinner
will be followed by a discussion at
8:45 p.m. and Oneg Shabbat at 9:30
p.m. There is no charge, but reserva-
tions are required. For information

Machon L'Torah will hold a deli
dinner 5 p.m. Sunday, March 22, in
Ann Arbor. Rabbi Jacobovitz will lead
a discussion on "White House
Reflections: Practical & Effective
ways to Combat Moral Decadence."

There is no charge. The event will
take place at the Jewish Resource
Center at the University of Michigan.

and learn 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, March
24, in Ann Arbor. Rabbi Jacobovitz
will lead a discussion on "Messianic
Expectations: Myths & Realities."
There is no charge. The event will
take place at the Jewish Resource
Center at the University of Michigan.

Families of Congregation Shaarey
Zedek's Beth Hayeled Nursery School
are invited to "A Sense of Shabbat,"
an educational program on the mean-
ing and customs of Shabbat 6:45
p.m. Tuesday, March 31, at Congre-
gation Shaarey Zedek in Southfield.
An optional kosher pizza dinner
will be served from 6-6:45 p.m. The
evening will include make-and-take
Shabbat ritual items and Shabbat
songs with the educational staff of
Beth Hayeled and the Agency for
Jewish Education's Jewish Experiences
for Families.
There is a fee of $10 per family.
Participants are also requested to
bring a contribution of a kosher food
item for Yad Ezra. Advance reserva-
tions are required. For information or
