JEANETTE "SISTER" SARAQUSE,
81, of Southfield, died March 13. Mrs.
Saraquse was a member of B'nai B'rith.
She is survived by her son, Marvin
Saraquse of Southfield; daughter,
Susan Saraquse of Southfield; grand-
children, Romy and Bill Gelement,
Steven Saraquse, Justin Saraquse;
great-grandchildren, Ashley and Alex;
brother and sister-in-law, Irving and
Sophie Smiler of Farmington Hills;
sister-in-law, Mildred Goldman. Mrs.
Saraquse was the beloved wife of the
late Joseph Saraquse.

DR. JACK I. WINSHALL87, of
Southfield, died March 11. Dr. Win-
shall came to the United States in
1921 from the Ukraine. He graduated D <
from the University of Detroit and
Marquette University School of Den-
tistry. He was a pharmacist and later
became a dentist, practicing for 20
years in downtown Detroit. During
World War II, he served as a second
lieutenant. In the 1950s, Dr. Winshall
became a land developer, creating sub-
divisions in Flint, St. Clair Shores and
Mt. Clemens. In the 1-960s, he devel-
oped Universal Mall in Warren and
the Regional Shopping Center in Mt.
Clemens.
He is survived by his sons and
daughters-in-law, Bill and Karen Win-
shall of West Bloomfield, Dr. Robert
(Azieb Afwork) Winshall of Berkeley,
Calif.; daughters, Marjory Winshall of
New York, N.Y., Julie Winshall of
Chicago; grandchildren, Brian, Dana
and Timnit Winshall. He was the
beloved husband of the late Phyllis
Samuels Winshall.
Graveside services were held at Beth
El Cemetery in Livonia. Contribu-
tions may be made to the Marquette
University School of Dentistry.

LILLIAN TANANBAUM, 82, of
Detroit, died March 3.
She is survived by her brother,
Hyman Feldman of Southfield; nieces
and nephews, Dr. Irwin Feldman of
Oak Park, Dr. Barry Feldman of West
Bloomfield, Idee Fox of West Bloom-
field, Cissy Gordon of Sylvan Lake.

AUGUSTA F. TRAGER, 92, former
Detroiter of Tucson Ariz., died March
11.
She is survived by her husband,
Max M. Trager; sons and daughter-in-
law, Stuart and Barbara Trager of
Detroit, Dr. Allen Trager of Flint; sis-
ter, Mildreth Rubinoff of Lauderhill,
Fla.; five grandchildren.
