Arrangements by the Ira Kaufman Chapel. DR. JACK I. WINSHALL87, of Southfield, died March 11. Dr. Win- shall came to the United States in 1921 from the Ukraine. He graduated D < from the University of Detroit and Marquette University School of Den- tistry. He was a pharmacist and later became a dentist, practicing for 20 years in downtown Detroit. During World War II, he served as a second lieutenant. In the 1950s, Dr. Winshall became a land developer, creating sub- divisions in Flint, St. Clair Shores and Mt. Clemens. In the 1-960s, he devel- oped Universal Mall in Warren and the Regional Shopping Center in Mt. Clemens. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Karen Win- shall of West Bloomfield, Dr. Robert (Azieb Afwork) Winshall of Berkeley, Calif.; daughters, Marjory Winshall of New York, N.Y., Julie Winshall of Chicago; grandchildren, Brian, Dana and Timnit Winshall. He was the beloved husband of the late Phyllis Samuels Winshall. Graveside services were held at Beth El Cemetery in Livonia.
