JWI Bowlers
Excel InChicago

Jewish- Women International bowlers
from Detroit took 16 awards at their
organization's Mid-America
Tournament in Chicago last month.
Galilee's Karen Minc highlighted
the JWI success, winning first place in
Division A, all events net score, with a
1,011 series. Teammate Cidnie Herold
came in third with 1,004 pins.
Altogether, JWI bowlers earned
four first and second place trophies,
and eight thirds.

Bowling Highlights

Danny Cohen of Ben Lusky Traveling
League (March 1) and Jerry Lash of
Pisgah (Feb. 19) each bowled a perfect
300 game.
The first round of the Spring 1998
Eliminator Tournament has been
completed. The winners are: 1st place
- Barry Bean (Pisgah), 142 pins over
average; 2nd place - Jerry Lash
(Pisgah), 132 pins over average; 3rd
place (tie) Alan Warsh (Downtown
Fox) and Greg Schultz (Pisgah), 128
pins over average.
The B'nai B'rith bowling leagues
will be participating in the B'nai B'rith
International Tournament in Las
Vegas on March 19-22.
