JWI Bowlers Excel InChicago Jewish- Women International bowlers from Detroit took 16 awards at their organization's Mid-America Tournament in Chicago last month. Galilee's Karen Minc highlighted the JWI success, winning first place in Division A, all events net score, with a 1,011 series. Teammate Cidnie Herold came in third with 1,004 pins. Altogether, JWI bowlers earned four first and second place trophies, and eight thirds. The first round of the Spring 1998 Eliminator Tournament has been completed.
