booths and tables ... Cocktails are
served along with wine by the bottle
or glass ... Beer includes Singha from
Thailand.
Following every meal comes a gra-
cious plate with fortune cookies and
orange slices.
When eating Thai food, it is wise
to be aware of its ability to be hot and
spicy enough to leave a lasting impres-
sion.
However, unless a person likes it
that way, Thai food does not have to
be hot to be tasty .... And a good Thai
restaurant recognizes this prime factor.
Mai Thai dining is with customer-
returning results ... There are no gim-
micks here ... The restaurant is simply
decorated and there is no entertain-
ment ... The chef is a veteran who
cooks authentic food that is highly
treasured by a loyal band of customers
who appreciate his specialties and reg-
ular goodness.
Mai Thai is a well-run and much
regarded Thai restaurant whose large
following have only praise for its con-
sistency.
