WXYZ-TV, and husband Glenn, are
both avid sport fisherfolks.
Date is Saturday, May 2, at the
River Crab Restaurant, with about
250 boats and about 1,000 fisherfolks
again expected at,the St. Clair River
site.
Tickets for the family fun day (out-
door barbecue, live entertainment,
silent auction, children's activities,
prize drawings, etc.) can be gotten at
any Chuck Muer restaurant, partici-
pating family service agencies, numer-
ous sporting goods stores, marinas,
etc.
Fund-raising projection for this
year is $115,000 ... To date, over
$900,000 has been generated to aid
troubled children, adults and their
families.
The $10 raffle tickets raise big dol-
lars for the worthy cause, with winners
cashing in on some lavish prizes (like
the four-night cruise from Florida for
two adults and two children, airfare
from Detroit and $300 fun money).
Everybody wins because all losing
tickets get $10 off dinner for two at
any Chuck Muer restaurant.
