countries' commitment to going ahead
with a series of joint infrastructure
projects, despite the cooling of rela-
dons following the Mashaal affair.
During a meeting in Jerusalem, the
two agreed to the creation of a joint
committee that will speed up the
processes to pave the way for the

Strauss To Enter
Gaza Market

Jerusalem (JPFS) — Strauss is explor-
ing the possibility of a joint venture
with Palestinians at the Karni
Industrial Park, Strauss international
business director Gery Michaeli said
while touring the area.
Michaeli said Strauss is also holding
intensive negotiations for the estab-
lishment of a dairy in Jordan. He said _
he hoped a deal could be reached with
suitable partners this year.
The dairy in Jordan would also
mainly serve the local population, he
said, with the advantages being the
avoidance of tariffs and logistical
problems involved in export.
