Wayne State University's School of
Business Administration has endowed
an Ethics in Business lecture series
named for Paul Kelman of Oak Park,
a retired accountant known through-
out his career as a mentor, communi-
ty leader and for maintaining the
highest ethical standards in the pro-
fession.
The endowment comes on the
heels of efforts by Kelman's friends,
former students and colleagues Gerald
Alvin, Mark Carney, Joseph Epel,
Robert Hague, Edward Rosenbaum
and Neal Zalenko. These men, who
organized a committee to honor their
mentor, raised more than $60,000 to
launch this lecture series.

to WSU
accounting
Paul Kelman
students, fac-

donors who made the lecture series
possible followed the presentation.
Kelman, who worked 45 years in
the accounting profession, is an alum-
nus of Wayne State University's School
of Business Administration. While
running his own firm, Kelman &
Levitsky, Kelman routinely recruited
from his alma mater.
