A quest of discovery with Aish Ha Torah.

T

hey came. They saw. They
discovered. More than 300
people recently attended the
Aish HaTorah Discovery
seminar held at Tam O'Shanter Coun-
try Club. Rabbi Noah Weinberg, dean
and founder of Aish HaTorah, was the
guest speaker. .
Before the discovery seminar, about
100 patrons attended a brunch with
Rabbi Weinberg. Jack and Charlene
Wolfe hosted the private reception.
"We met [the local Aish HaTorah
directOr] Alon Tolwin about 2 years
ago," explained Charlene. "We wanted
to study the mystical meaning of
Judaism," she added.

Jack and Charlene Wolfe hosted a
private reception before the Discovery
seminar.

Today, many people like the Wolfes
are active members of Aish HaTorah. A
major goal of Aish HaTorah is to pre-
sent the beauty, relevance and meaning
of Judaism and Israel to Jewish people,
whether they are observant or not.
Rabbi Weinberg spoke briefly at the
luncheon about knowing oneself. "The
most fascinating human being is your-
self. Sit down and interview yourself,"
suggested Rabbi Weinberg. He then
discussed how knowing what you want
can get you where you want to be.
After a few questions and answers, the
Discovery seminar began.
The Discovery seminar examines the
Bible and pulls out "codes" or
sequences of letters that make up words
and foretell events.
Andy Jacob, Vivienne Feigelman,
Amy Margolis, Leah Gella Tolwin,
Richard Moperoft, Michael Marcus
and Sussman Sykes Advertising were
instrumental in organizing the seminar
presented by World Wide Financial.
