MERILYN SCHWARTZ, 72, of Boca
Raton, Fla., died Jan. 16. Mrs.
Schwartz was a 1947 UCLA graduate
with a bachelor of science in dietetics.
She was a 15-year member of
Beaumont Hospital's Volunteer
Committee, a life member and past
chapter treasurer of Metro Detroit
Hadassah, life member of the National
Council of Jewish Women, member of
Women's American ORT and Temple
Emanu-El and its sisterhood.
She is survived by her husband,
David Schwartz; sons and daughters-
in-law Arthur and Pam Schwartz of
Ann Arbor, Stephen and Mary Rea
Schwartz of Ann Arbor, Michael and
Susan Schwartz of West Hills, Calif.,
Daniel and JoEllen Schwartz of
Birmingham; grandchildren,
Andrew, Laura, Kathryn, Adam,
Erica, Richard, Gena, Lindsay and
Emma Schwartz; sister, Diane
Kemper of West Bloomfield.
