died Jan. 13. She was a volunteer at
Sinai Hospital, an active life member
of Na'amat, Hadassah and B'nai
B'rith.
She is survived by her nieces and
nephews, Carol and Irving Wiseman,
Joan and Dr. Sheldon Simons; great-
niece and great- nephew, Larry and
Lisa Schreiber; brother-in-law and sis-
ter-in-law, Ralph and Edith Levin of
West Bloomfield. Mrs. Lind was the
beloved wife of the late Eric Lind.

CLARA MARKS, 93, of Oak Park,
died Jan. 16. Mrs. Marks was a life
member of Pioneer Women
(Na'amat) and the Labor Zionist
Organization Histadrut.
She is survived by her daughters
and sons-in-law, Florence and Louis
Citarel of Southfield, Dolores and
Arvin Bennish; grandchildren,
Deborah and Edward Nowinski,
Ethan and Chris Bennish, Lloyd and
Joan Wedes, Mara Bennish; great-
grandchildren, Jason, Sarah and
Paige Bennish, Skyler Nowinski; sis-
ters-in-law, Bertha and Yetta Gussin.
For over 50 years, Mrs. Marks was
the beloved wife of the late David.
Marks; she was the loving great-
grandmother of the late Dustin
Nowinski.
Interment at Machpelah

HARRY A. MASLOW, 90, of Ann
Arbor, died Jan. 15. Mr. Maslow was
an architect and city planner who
was very involved in New Jersey
Planning and Building Code. He
was a graduate of Columbia
University with bachelor's and mas-
ter's degrees. During World War II,
he was one of the planners of the
Pentagon, was a founding member
of the New Jersey Association of
Planners and became a self-taught
aeronautical engineer working for
Boeing. After the war, he returned to
New Jersey and went into private
practice in the Elizabeth area; for
many years he was a senior trustee of
Free Acres Association. He was also a
founding member of the New Jersey
Association of Planners and was a
honorary life treasurer and adjunct
professor of architecture at Rutgers
University where he taught the legal
aspects of planning and zoning.
Mr. Maslow is survived by his
daughter and son-in-law, Daryl and
Monroe Hafter of Ann Arbor;
grandchildren, Naomi Hafter,
Matthew and Beth Hafter; great-
grandchildren, Mark and Claire
Hafter. He was the beloved husband
of the late Theresa Maslow.
Interment at Beth Israel.Cemetery
in New Jersey. Contributions may be

Age Home, 225 West Jersey Street,
